Cancellation Policy

Board + Bites Event Catering Policy We are thrilled to be a part of your special event! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable catering experience, please review our booking policies below. Booking & Deposit Policy All event catering orders require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total estimated cost to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 3 days prior to the event date unless otherwise arranged. Your event is not officially reserved until the deposit is received. Cancellation & Refund Policy Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled event will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will be billed for 50% of the total invoice due to preparation and product sourcing. Changes to Orders Changes to the guest count, menu, or delivery time must be made at least 5 days in advance. We will do our best to accommodate last-minute changes, but adjustments made less than 5 days before the event may incur additional fees or may not be possible depending on product availability. Online Menu Booking Policy Menus selected through our online ordering system are considered confirmed once checkout is complete and the deposit is received. Please double-check your selections and event details (date, time, delivery address) prior to submitting your order. For custom menus, dietary restrictions, or themed boards, please contact us directly prior to placing your order online. Delivery & Setup We offer delivery and optional setup for catered events. Delivery fees vary based on distance and order size. A contact person must be on-site at the agreed-upon delivery time. If no one is available to accept the order after 15 minutes, additional charges may apply. Food Safety & Liability Once food is delivered or picked up, Board + Bites is no longer responsible for the handling or storage of items. We recommend all food be consumed within 2 hours of delivery for safety and quality. Weather, Emergencies, & Force Majeure In the case of severe weather, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control (natural disaster, power outage, etc.), Board + Bites reserves the right to cancel or reschedule.
